Biography

Matthew Scott Pillado joined the faculty at º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Denver after practicing criminal law in Texas, where he represented clients in both state and federal courts. He has also taught criminal justice, paralegal studies, and English.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame, his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law, and his Master of Arts in English from Arizona State University.

His teaching emphasizes real-world case studies, discussion-based learning, and the practical application of criminal justice concepts. He strives to help students develop the critical thinking and analytical skills needed to evaluate complex legal and ethical issues while preparing for careers in law, criminal justice, and public service.
