- Although parking is available on campus we do encourage attendees to park at the hotel and walk to the conference locations.
- First Friday Art Walk: First Friday Art Walk, a shuttle gallery tour that takes place the first Friday of each month from 5:30pm – 9:30pm. Easily accessible by taking the D-Mineral Line from Colfax at Auraria to 10th/Osage Station and then a 13-minute walk or Uber/Lyft ride to Art District on Santa Fe. Other option includes a 22 -minute walk from campus or a 12-minute ride, free parking is provided at a first come first serve basis or parking at West High School and 10th Avenue and Galapago St. for $5.Ìý
- Meow Wolf: Walk-through art experience with interactive rooms and bizarre sculptures. 16-minute walk from campus or a 4- minute car ride. Tickets start at $50 per person.Ìý ()ÌýÌýÌý
- Denver Art Museum: 30–minute walk from campus or a 10-minute car drive from campus. Tickets for students are $19 for CO residents, $24 for non CO residents. (https://www.denverartmuseum.org/en/plan-your-visit)

- By train: approximately 50-minute train ride taking the A-Line to Union Station, once at Union Station ¾±³Ù’s a 15-minute walk or inexpensive Uber/Lyft ride to campus. Cost of train tickets is $10.00( )
- RTD app is preferable for easier accessibility to tickets.()Ìý
- By car the commute from DIA to campus is approximately 30 minutes.

- If staying at the campus hotel, valet parking is available for $55/day. There is no overnight parking on campus so please plan accordingly.

Denver is an urban city. To ensure you have a safe and positive visit, please keep in mind the following:
- Bring a water bottle! Those who are coming from lower altitudes are prone to altitude sickness and need to stay hydrated!
- If you feel unsafe or need assistance, call the police, and ask for help.
- Avoid walking by yourself (especially at night).
- Avoid dark alleys, isolated spaces, empty parking lots
- Avoid leaving any valuables unattended
- Rideshare with others when possible
- Be aware of your surroundings and remain cautious as you explore our beautiful city!
