Ranger Challenge is the premier competition within Army ROTC, bringing together the most dedicated cadets to test their physical fitness, tactical skills, and mental resilience. Through demanding events such as land navigation, weapons proficiency, tactical combat casualty care (TCCC), and ruck marching, cadets develop the confidence, discipline, and teamwork required to succeed as future Army officers. Every practice is an opportunity to push past your limits and discover what you’re truly capable of.

Joining the Ranger Challenge Team means committing to excellence. Open to cadets of all experience levels, the team trains two to three times each week under the mentorship of senior cadets who prepare members for regional competition. Those who earn a place on the team represent Charlie Rock and the Buffalo Battalion with pride, building lifelong friendships while proving they have the determination to lead when the mission is at its toughest.
