Added Endorsement and Graduate Certificate in Special Education Generalist (ages 5 through 21)
The graduate-level Special Education Added Endorsement and Certificate program is intended for licensed or pre-service teachers interested in taking graduate coursework leading to an added endorsement in Special Education (K-12 Generalist) on their Colorado teaching license. Students seeking an endorsement in special education must either be accepted to a School of Education teacher licensure program OR already hold or meet the requirements to earn a Colorado teaching license. Upon successful completion of this program, candidates will meet course requirements to apply for an added endorsement in Special Education Generalist through the Colorado Department of Education.
