The application period for the and begins each October. º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Denver’s internal application (General Scholarship Application) opens each December.

Although there is no strict deadline for completing either form, we recommend that students finish both applications by March 1.

You should only complete one application, not both. if you’re not sure which financial aid form you need.

Financial aid can come from three different sources:

• Federal and/or state financial aid (/ needed)
• Financial aid provided by º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Denver (/ and General Scholarship needed)
• Private, off-campus scholarships (/ needed, refer here for list of private, off-campus scholarships)

Depending on immigration status and access to in-state tuition, student qualify for some or all of these options.

Yes, financial aid options are available to all students, regardless of their immigration status. Depending on their status, some students may qualify for various types of financial aid, including federal, state, institutional, and private/off-campus resources. Staff at the Immigrant Services Program is here to help you review your financial aid options and advise you on your next steps.Ìý

Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment with the Immigrant Services Program to explore their financial aid options. It is the student’s responsibility to keep track of their financial aid and make a decision by the tuition deadline regarding one of the following options:

• Pay out-of-pocket expenses
• Enroll in a payment plan, or
• Drop classes before the 100% or 50% refund deadlines (listed here)

Students who do not drop their classes by the deadline may be required to pay their tuition bill, even if they do not attend the classes.
