Course Details and Learning Outcomes
Students in this course develop a basic understanding of project management and how it is used in the aerospace industry by analyzing project management knowledge areas and processes in the context of aerospace applications. Previous aerospace projects will be analyzed from a project management perspective, so students learn how to utilize project management principles in real world applications.

About Your Aerospace Instructor
Aerospace instructor
Michael Botyarov completed his PhD at Colorado State University in Systems Engineering. His areas of research focus on artificial intelligence, human systems engineering, and project management. Michael has industry experience as a program manager at Sierra Nevada Corp., and was a systems engineer at both United Launch Alliance and Maxar Technologies. He has also earned a MS in Systems Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an MBA from CU Denver, and a Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
