About Your Space Flight Operations Instructor

Space Flight Operations instructor

Michael Botyarov completed his PhD at Colorado State University in Systems Engineering. His areas of research focus on artificial intelligence, human systems engineering, and project management. Michael has industry experience as a program manager at Sierra Nevada Corp., and was a systems engineer at both United Launch Alliance and Maxar Technologies. He has also earned a MS in Systems Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an MBA from CU Denver, and a Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
