Join us for a powerful event exploring identity, resistance, and the transformative power of music with special guest RomeynoÌý³Ò³Ü³Ù¾±Ã©°ù°ù±ð³ú — Latin America’s first Indigenous Rarámuri (Tarahumara) concert pianist from Chihuahua, Mexico. Raised in the small village of Retosachi, Romeyno blends classical piano with traditional Rarámuri folk music.

El Grito 5K Run

The 31st annual El Grito 5K, a family-friendly run/walk on the Auraria Campus in celebration of Mexican Independence Day. Hosted by El Grito Runners Inc. in partnership with º£½ÇÖ±²¥ Denver’s Strategic Programs Department, the event includes a 5K race (3.1 miles), a kids fun run, and a festive post-race celebration. Proceeds support scholarships for students participating in cross-country and track. Let’s run for culture, community, and a great cause!

Latinx Heritage Month Kickoff
