Do you have a translation/interpreting project that involves the English/Spanish language pairing?

Grant funds can provide financial support for translation/interpreting needs through the end of fiscal year 2026-27. The request-funding-completion process will be coordinated by the Department of World Languages. Project funding is on a first come-first serve basis, not to exceed $6,000 per project. Each project must relate directly to the HSI mission of the University. Ìý

Step-by-Step

STEP 1: Obtain a QuoteÌý

• For translation projects: contact Martin Ariano.
• For interpreting events: contact Gabriela Siebach.

STEP 2: Request FundingÌý

• Have quote on hand.
• Apply by following this and attaching the quote.

STEP 3: Get ApprovedÌý

• Approval will come from the following email account: [email protected]
• The approval notice will reach both the applicant and the vendor.Ìý

ÌýSTEP 4: Follow Up Ìý

• After approval, coordinate with the translation/interpreting team.
• Receive your services.Ìý

ÌýSTEP 5: Track PaymentÌý

• Projects approved for funding will be paid directly to the vendor by the LANG Department (formerly MDL Department).
