SCHOLARSHIP FOR STUDY ABROAD IN M脕LAGA, SPAIN

Under a grant from the European Union鈥檚 Erasmus+ Scholarship Program, one 海角直播 Denver student will have the opportunity to study abroad at Universidad de M谩laga in Spain for the spring 2027 semester!
The university calendar for the spring semester runs from February through July 2027 [dates are not finalized].
The award will provide:
- Tuition waiver [school fees still apply]
- Airfare stipend of up to 鈧�1,500
- Monthly stipend of 鈧�850 for five months
Eligibility:
- 2.75 GPA
- Sophomore, junior, or senior standing
- Declared major or minor within the School of Hospitality or in Spanish within the Department of World Languages
Spanish Language Proficiency:
Spanish is the language of instruction at UMA. Students in School of Hospitality programs should be prepared to take a majority of their courses in Spanish and should have Spanish language proficiency at the B2 level or higher. Students studying Spanish should have proficiency at the B1 level or higher.
Application:
There are several steps in the application process. The first 海角直播 Denver application is due Sept. 16, 2026. Nominated students will then be asked to complete an application directly with UMA.
