The minimum number of credits to earn a Master鈥檚 degree is 30. However, due to discipline specific accreditation policies, some Master鈥檚 program require many more credits for program completion.

海角直播 Denver strongly encourages students who are interested in graduate programs that lead to professional licensure聽to consult both with their academic programs and the appropriate 聽if the Colorado State licensure will also be valid in other states. This inquiry will help students to determine if practicing outside Colorado might require additional preparations such as post-graduation exams, supplemental coursework, professional experience, fees, background checks, or other state-specific requirements.
Graduate Certificate Programs are short graduate programs (often between 9 and 15 credits – exceptions apply) that lead to a graduate certificate versus a degree. They are free-standing units that can support upskilling interests and/or are integrated in a corresponding Master鈥檚 program.
The Master of Teaching with concentrations in elementary education or special education welcomes career changers as well as those who have earned their baccalaureate degree and want to start their professional lives as elementary or special education teachers. The successful completion of our program will result in a recommendation for obtaining the licensure to serve as a teacher in Colorado.
Successful graduates will be eligible to teach elementary (K-6) or special education (P-12) in any public school in Colorado and in those states and countries with reciprocity agreements.
The program requires 49-50 graduate credits for completion, and most students complete the Master of Teaching program in 5-7 semesters/about 2.5-3.5 years.

Students from all walks of life are welcome to apply. Only a Baccalaureate Degree is required.
The MAT Program offers courses in various formats, and some courses are offered in person only.
We have graduates working as teachers at every school district聽in the Denver Metro area, namely: Denver Public Schools, Cherry Creek School District, Jefferson County School District, Aurora Public Schools, Boulder Valley School District, and Adams 12 Five Star Schools.

海角直播 Denver鈥檚 Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (MEd) with concentrations in Trauma-Informed Practices, Inclusive Practices, and Business Education will prepare students to acquire expertise in building and leading educational environments that meet the needs of all students.
The MEd program will prepare you to be an innovator and a leader in the educational setting in which you work by exploring new methods of teaching and leadership. You will learn to develop and lead educational environments that are equitable, sustaining, and responsive to the needs of every student.
On average, 5-6 semesters including summer. MEd Program completion requires 30 graduate credits.

A previous degree and position in education or social science is preferred.
This degree can be completed in-person or in a hybrid online (synchronous/asynchronous) setting. Some classes may mix these formats, with some students joining the class through a virtual online platform while others are physically present in the classroom with the instructor.
We have graduates working at every school district聽in the Denver Metro area as well as educators in special service facilities, advocacy/policy organizations, and other student-facing organizations.

Consisting of 30 credits (no thesis requirement), the MPAcc program does not only furnish the education necessary to prepare for Colorado鈥檚 CPA exam and other professional accounting certifications, but it also provides a forum in which to develop expertise, hone your critical thinking abilities and enhance your communication skills. Courses in the MPAcc program are research-based, writing intensive and leadership and teamwork oriented. Plus, you can build on your education by participating in a service-learning course or professional internship. 海角直播 Denver鈥檚 rigorous graduate-level curriculum in Professional Accountancy is designed to prepare you for the intense, demanding requirements and expectations of the accounting profession.
The MPAcc degree from 海角直播 Denver prepares graduates for a variety of careers in public accounting, business & industry, government, nonprofit, higher education, healthcare, aerospace and more. Many of our graduates parlay their degrees into leadership positions as controllers, accounting and finance directors, vice presidents or use their in-depth accounting backgrounds to start businesses of their own.
Students typically complete the degree in 1.5 鈥 2 years. If students plan on working full time, or have other commitments, they should plan on completing the program in 2 years or more. All students are required to complete the degree within six (6) calendar years.

No accounting education background, no problem! Transcripts of admitted students are reviewed to determine if a student needs any prerequisite accounting courses (up to 2), all of which can be completed while enrolled in the MPAcc program.
Graduates will learn and enhance skills related to financial analysis, accounting research and professional communication.
Currently our program is predominantly in-person with most MPAcc classes meeting once a week starting at 5:30pm. Our faculty value the in-person connection in lively class discussions and the students value the networking piece in getting to know their peers.
Graduates work in a variety of accounting and business leadership roles in professional accounting firms, industry and government.

The MHA program prepares students to enter the health care administrative field and proceed to leadership positions within a variety of health care organizations.
For a full-time graduate student, two years and one semester.

Students are required to have earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in any field from a regionally accredited institution. The MHA program requires prerequisite coursework in accounting, economics and statistics with a grade of 鈥淐鈥 or better prior to the start of the program.
Please note, MHA applicants may submit their application prior to completing prerequisite coursework, but must complete the courses through an approved method prior to the start of the program.

Our mission is to educate and empower future leaders in the fields of mental health and addictions counseling to provide excellence in service delivery across the entire continuum of care.
The Master of Science in Clinical Behavioral Health Program with emphasis in Addictions Counseling prepares students to work in a variety of behavioral health treatment and recovery settings. Students will integrate research, skill development, education in treatment and recovery, evidence-based practices, and experiential work in behavioral health and addictions counseling. This program meets the educational requirements needed to pursue licensure as a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado.

Applicants accepted into our program who earned their undergraduate degrees in an unrelated field are encouraged to enroll in our Foundations of Addiction and Mental Health Counseling course. The course is designed to lay the groundwork of our Master鈥檚 program and is offered in the summer free of charge.

The mission of the CYBM program is to provide students with in-depth knowledge as well as practical skills in both policy and analysis of computer and network security, privacy, computer forensics, and the investigation, prosecution, and punishment of cybercrime.
M.S. in Cybersecurity graduates will be able to:

All CYBM courses are offered only once a year and, due to prerequisites, students have to enroll in a prescribed sequence. Enrollment for less than 9 credits will extend the time for program completion.

We have students in our program from a variety of backgrounds; having a cybersecurity, computer science or computer information systems background is helpful as our program can be quite technical, but we offer introductory classes that can help bridge the gap somewhat if you feel that you need to gain more knowledge. If you do not have a cybersecurity background, visit the FAQ section on the website.
The Cybersecurity Master鈥檚 Program provides students with in-depth knowledge as well as practical skills in both policy and analysis of computer and network security, privacy, computer forensics, and the investigation, prosecution, and punishment of cybercrime. Students are prepared to enter management or technical positions at all levels in the field of cybersecurity, and learn leadership skills and the聽ability to work well in a team-based work environment.

The Master of Science in Nutrition (MSN) program is a student-focused program that helps to strengthen research skills, expand knowledge of advanced nutrition topics, bolster communication skills and prepares students to become leaders in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
The Master of Science in Nutrition program offers a Dietetics Concentration, that prepares students for a career path as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
The mission of the MSN program is to prepare diverse students to become nutrition leaders who practice effectively and contribute solutions for human health and healthcare challenges.
Students who complete the Dietetics Concentration will meet the requirements for a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) verification statement, which is the first initial step to become an RDN. Already credentialed RDNs can advance their knowledge via the General Nutrition Concentration. The General Nutrition Concentration can also be pursued by students who are looking for advanced nutrition related knowledge, or are interested in becoming researchers, food scientists, nutrition educators, etc.
A full-time student may finish the MSN program in as little as 12 months, including summer and winter semesters.

Prior to entry into the program, students need to complete a couple of science-based prerequisite courses, including chemistry, biological chemistry, organic chemistry, human anatomy and physiology, advanced nutrition and medical nutrition therapy.
Students are trained to critically evaluate nutrition science and effectively translate research findings into practice across a variety of settings, including clinical care, public health, and food service systems. Core competencies developed in the program include Medical Nutrition Therapy, nutrition assessment, counseling techniques, and interdisciplinary leadership.
A key strength of the 海角直播 Denver Nutrition program is its urban focus, which provides students with a deep understanding of equity, access, and justice within the food system. This perspective prepares graduates to address health disparities and promote inclusive, culturally responsive nutrition care for diverse populations.
The MSN program offers some courses synchronously online and some courses in-person. Courses are offered on weekday evenings.
Graduates of the 海角直播 Denver Master of Science in Nutrition program are prepared to work in a wide range of professional settings where nutrition plays a critical role in health and well-being. The SLP Master鈥檚 Program:
Our graduate degree in speech-language pathology (MS SLP) provides students a pathway to become clinically certified speech-language pathologists.
Program completion takes 23-months with a summer semester start and incorporates both didactic coursework and clinical work.

Applicants must have a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Speech, Language, Hearing Science (SLHS). Applicants who have earned a bachelor’s degree in a different discipline must complete 27 credits of undergraduate SLHS requirements.
Students must also have completed 25 observation hours and should be aware of math and science coursework required for .
All graduates will acquire the skills required to be licensed and certified as a speech-language pathologist (SLP). Graduates will have obtained the knowledge and skills needed to work in any setting including hospitals, schools, and private practices.
Everyone accepted to the MS SLP program will be expected to attend full time, in-person.
Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) work in many varied settings. We work in acute hospitals, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and long-term care, elementary, middle and high schools, early intervention settings, home health, private practices, government, and industry.

The Master of Science in Business Intelligence (MSBI) is designed to merge technical competencies, such as data analysis, visualization, machine learning, and statistical modeling, with business strategy. It prepares graduates to turn complex data into actionable insights for decision-making across industries.
Graduates will be prepared for roles such as data analyst, management analyst, operations research analyst, business intelligence specialist, and related positions in consulting, retail, technology, marketing, and supply chain analytics.
